Well, a lot of crearures are highly Intelligent - personally, the most Intelligent Individual I have ever known, was Taltùl.

My Feline owner back in the Nineties.

As, in comparison with that one Cat, all humans I have ever encountered fall so far short.

Dogs do certainly show a much larger capacity for selfless care and Empathy, than the majority of humans have ever been capable of.

Numerous bird species do clearly possess complex Language skills, as can be attested by simply listening to them.

And "souls" are fiction. A mere Fantasy. All we realize to be the self = our thoughts, our Feelings, our personality, everything! - is merely the side result of our brain's chemistry and electrical pulses; NOTHING beyond it, period.

Any person denying it, is simply too weak and hysterical to accept it.😎

But there is, however, One Single Trait, which makes us human beings unique:

OUR ABILITY TO CHANGE.

With all their high Intelligent and well-evolved perception-ability, all other species rarely ever change. Cats or Ravens, although more Intelligent than us by far, do not change. Just think - two hundred generations ago, where were our Ancestors?

Some had already developed some basic forns of writing, and have organized in advanced societies of early cities and first kingdoms; many others had still lived in tiny farming villages, and had not known what writing is - and lots of others had still been hunters-gatherers.

Look at us today. Whether we are better or worse off is a subject for a different debate; the point is, that we have changed ourselves, our civilization, beyond anything our Ancestors, from merely a few millennia ago, could possibly have ever even imagined.

Think of our Ancestors from the 19th Century. Just a handful of generations ago!! Think of your Great-Great-Great-GrandParents, back on the 1850's, in... well, wherever they had lived (mine = half of them in various agrarian towns, in Russian-administered poland, ecking a living doing whatever jobs they had been legally tolerated and allowed to be doing as Jews, and the other half living somewhere, in some Ottoman-era's Kurdistan's Jewish communities). Each of You, think of your own Ancestors back then, merely five, or six generations ago.

What did they have? How did they see the World around them? What did they know about it? Were they even literate? "Even" the girls, or just the boys? Did they even get to see an actual city? Would they at all be able to comprehend Secular humanism, Environmentalism, Veganism, gender Equality? If any of them were to suddenly be transported to our World today, would they even survive the shock?

Merely five, or six generations ago!!

I think of the World of my childhood, of the Eighties. A mere fraction of a second in biological terms!! And just see, how much everything has changed - morally, mentally, ideologically, technologically... again, for better or for worse is a matter for a wholly different discussion, but - Just see the changes!! During less than one single human lifespan!!

Where would our Descendants be, five or six generations in the Future? Traveling the Galaxy? Mentally creating new Universes, out of nothing? Manipulating both matter and time, in ways that we cannot even imagine? What would their set of values be like? Surely, they will consider us to be no more than ignorant, limited and boorish brutes, just dumb and savage cave-people!!

Let alone two hundred generations in the Future...

Now, take Cats, or Ravens. Five of their generations - or, even, two hundreds of their generations ago - where were they? How were they living out their lives?

NOT ANY DIFFERENT, THAN THEIR DESCENDANTS TODAY DO.

THIS is human uniqeness: Our Capacity for Change. Our ability to change ourselves, our own personal way of thinking, and to teach our children a different set of values, for example, than the one we ourselves had been taught.
