You are absolutely right - while my taste is different from yours, I do definitely and strongly prefer the proper, 22-to-26-Episode-Season format from TV's Golden Era = 1982 - 2006. Then, from "Cheers"' pilot to "Charmed"'s finalé, TV was exactly the way it should be, with "Star Trek TNG", "Deep Space 9", "Voyager"; "Sliders", "Charmed", "Andromeda"; "Cheers", "Who's Boss", "Small Wonder", "ALF", "Family Matters", "Step by Step", "Clueless", "Sabrina the Teen Witch", "Allie McBeal"; "Hercules" and "Xena" (when listing them chronogically, and from Best to... ho, well 😃). At "Star Trek TNG" or "Charmed", not every Episode "had" to feel like an oscar-winning full-feature movie. During "ALF"'s four seasons the kids didn't mature 10 years. And at "Deep Space 9" or "Charmed" we had time to simply get to know the characters, and not just hysterically jump, from one CGI-packed crap to the next.

I would Love to see television go back to the Nineties' formats and production-styles. FOR GOOD.

Smaller, More Personal, than an Official Ĥotel

They might be called  Guest House, Inn, Pension, Villa, Home Stay  or Bed and Breakfast. Some of them, might even be called (1, or 2 star) Hotel. They are a different category, more than an air-bnb, less than an actual Hotel. In most cases, they are ran by the Family whose Home it is. Some of them have Breakfast year-round (or upon request), some of them only have Breakfast during Summertime, or Summer and Spring, and still others never do. Some of them might have various perks, such as free Tea/Coffee and Biscuits, or free laundry. They usually clean your room about twice a week (or, in montenegro: only once a week, at best ). They rarely have any actual, manned reception desk (or only have it during high season). And, from May 2024 on, whenever I was not able to live at ♥️Home♥️ (meaning: at "♥️Turist♥️"😍❣️😍❣️😍 ), I have mostly lived in them. What IS "Europe"? 😃

In the cultural sphere governed by california and its... people, when one says "Europe", one normally means something along the lines of France italy britain/england Portugal Catalonia ¹ the netherlands belgium and spain, with perhaps the addition of germany Ireland austria switzerland czechia ²  and... well, some scandinavian country.
