You are absolutely right. Here, tonight the 2nd season of "ted" is finally expected to arrive. After Two Years(!!) from its first season, which was only comprised of... seven episodes. It's nothing!! So, once upon a time, there had been 7 brief epispdes of a sitcom, and then: nothing for Two Whole Years. Or "Strange New Worlds": also, Two Whole Years after a 10-episodes' "season", and when the new, third season had FINALLY come out, half(!!) of it (eps. 1, 3, 5, 9 and 10) was alex-kurtzmanniacal crap, and they said "ho well, because strike". So, to make a good season 3 would have taken them - how long, four years, perhaps??

And all those cancellations. "Good Girls Revolt", "I am Frankie" and "Teenage Bounty Hunters" (to name but a few) had EACH deserved at least one more season (all the while crap such as "Emily à Paris" should have ended a long time ago, but the production team wanted to have Pizzas), and don't get me started about how they have been torturing the Excellent Series "The Orville". Indeed, TNG had only been good from Season Two, and only truly made it from Season Three. Today, TNG would have been axed right after season one, and "DS9" and "Voyager" would never have been born.

But, of course, the intentional isolation of viewers is THE worst aspect of it all.

Smaller, More Personal, than an Official Ĥotel

They might be called  Guest House, Inn, Pension, Villa, Home Stay  or Bed and Breakfast. Some of them, might even be called (1, or 2 star) Hotel. They are a different category, more than an air-bnb, less than an actual Hotel. In most cases, they are ran by the Family whose Home it is. Some of them have Breakfast year-round (or upon request), some of them only have Breakfast during Summertime, or Summer and Spring, and still others never do. Some of them might have various perks, such as free Tea/Coffee and Biscuits, or free laundry. They usually clean your room about twice a week (or, in montenegro: only once a week, at best ). They rarely have any actual, manned reception desk (or only have it during high season). And, from May 2024 on, whenever I was not able to live at ♥️Home♥️ (meaning: at "♥️Turist♥️"😍❣️😍❣️😍 ), I have mostly lived in them. What IS "Europe"? 😃

In the cultural sphere governed by california and its... people, when one says "Europe", one normally means something along the lines of France italy britain/england Portugal Catalonia ¹ the netherlands belgium and spain, with perhaps the addition of germany Ireland austria switzerland czechia ²  and... well, some scandinavian country.
