Regarding the "Grand Gestures" Vid...

Something else I thought about - if the girly in Question does, actually, require an extremely grand gesture (NOT a Healthy Emotional investment in the Relationship; something crazy, like the stuff here described)...

It reminds me of something - I believe it was told in the Italian Movie "Cinema Paradiso", probably (I really need to watch that Film again...) - about a girl who asks a boy, who fell in Love with her, to stand outside her window, in the pouring Rain, for days and days, as a condition to her accepting him...

He does.

But, then, when the time to... "collect his prize" has come... he just turns, and walks away. Since - realizing, that such a girl does not Love him back, and more: that she is, in fact, a selfish, and genuinely cruel individual, who does not care about anybody but her own shallow self - he fell out of Love with her, and lost all interest.

A reasonable and Healthy investment in a Relationship, in any Relationship, is essential.

But! If your "one and only" keeps denanding that you shall run yourself over with insanity in order for her to accept you, if she demands such crazy grand gestures from you, and for you to keep bringing her dragons' heads and lotuses, in order for her to accept you... she clearly does not really give a damn about you, and merely enjoys the carresses to her girly ego = at which case, instead of planning the next grand gesture, just leave her, and look for someone who shall truly Love you, as you are, simply for being you.
