Why There Is NO "Fermi Paradox", At All

I've truly had it with all that fermi-shmermi nonsense.

THERE IS NO "PARADOX". They are simply either way too advanced for us to detect (a Galaxy full of SubSpace chatter shall still appear to be silent to us, just like a Galaxy full of radio-waves shall still appear to be silent for any pre-modern people...), or they have just not evolved enough yet...

Let's say that our sector of space just happens, by sheer coincidence, at the momemt, to be inhabited merely by civilizations at our own stage or less - if, say, 100 light years away from us, lives a civilization that is only slightly behind us - at a developmental stage equal to us 150 years ago. Now, we shall see their planet as it was when they were like we had been, say, 250 years ago = no industrial pollution, no radio broadcasts, no space program... while they, using their telescopes, shall only see our Solar System as it had been an entire century ago = when we had only just begun broadcasting the very first radio broadcasts (which they would not be able to detect yet anyway, of course!), and have not yet begun to send even the simplest rockets out of our atmosphere... and, of course, at such a level of their telescopes, as humanity had 150 years ago, they would not be able to detect Earth's industrialization, anyway.

And what about Planets hosting civilizations at the level of the Roman Empire, the Aztecs, the Sumerians?

Assuming there is such a case right next door, merely 10 light years, even 6 light years from us - how, exactly, shall we detect it???

Or they might all be far more advanced than we are: waltzing between the Star Systems, their ships possess propulsion-methods the like of which we have either merely been able to imagine, but are still decades, or centuries from being capable of testing, or stuff that no human has even ever imagined yet!

Naturally of course, those aliens will know about us... perhaps they'd even decide to monitor us; but, if so - they shall be able to completely shield their existence from us, until such time when they shall deem us to be ready for First Contact, quite possibly due to the launch of some ship from Montana, proving the time _has_ come for the sector's Responsible Adults to start teaching the savage child-race some proper galactic manners.😄

Or they might be SOOOOOOO far beyond us, that we shall never be able to even see them - and they shall never take any kind of interest at us.
